Halloween in Australia
Now we all know that Halloween in Australia is nothing like the version that the USA have. Here it's a pretty piss poor effort really and anyone who tries to make Halloween into something special is generally told that Halloween is a "Yanky thing and does not belong in Oz".

Trouble is I love Halloween, I love getting a costume on and I love parties. So I have to ask why in Australia where we love parties, love to drink and love to have fun are we so against Halloween as a time to party? I have been in the USA during Halloween and it is a fantastic time and also not just a time for children to celebrate. With even adults dressing up and wearing incredible sexy costumes to wild parties.
I am still trying to understand why, oh why this has not caught on in Australia. I know that costume parties can be celebrated at any time of the year but wouldn't be great if we had one night of the year where a great majority of the population costumes up and parties.

The Adult costume market is growing in Australia and there are more costume parties than ever before. So why don't we take the next step and really put some effort into making Halloween night a great night to wear your sexiest adult costume and invite our friends round for some wild parties. Also it's not just the costumes that make Halloween special it's the special scream houses that are set up in the USA where you pay to scream, the excitement that Halloween creates, the whole party atmosphere that Halloween inspires.
If there is one thing we need here in Australia it's more reasons to party, so why don't we try and make Halloween something special. I have been for years and now I think it's time that others get in on the act of Halloween
